Bekah's Story

"It's hard to say one particular thing about Coastlands that's meaningful to me, because they've meant so many different things to me at different stages of my life.

When I was little, they were my TEACHERS.

Most of my interaction with them was through chapel, and what really stood out to me was how memorable they were - I still remember my first object lesson.

As I got older and went into middle school, they became more of my MENTORS.

Through journaling one-on-one and conversations I could more clearly engage in and understand, they became people I could talk to easily and come to for advice with my relationship with God.

Now that I'm older, I'm very glad to call them my FRIENDS.

I've had the opportunity to go out with them in ministry to multiple schools as well as have dinner with them at their house on many occasions. Through time with them outside my school environment, I've learned more about who they are as people."

Jake's Story

“About three years ago, during my seventh grade school year, I was at the darkest point in my life. Kids had exposed me to things I shouldn’t have been exposed to, and I dug myself into a dark pit I couldn’t get out of. I was on my recovery road one year ago when Coastlands came to my school and did spiritual emphasis week, and it was the most powerful and influential week of that year! The one-on-one journaling with them taught me, helped me, and encouraged me. I would not be where I am today if God had not allowed the Coastlands Consultants in my life.”
